Alaska

Alaska 9 days Itinerary ( 2 days land, 7 days cruise)

  • Anchorage (2 days)
    • Eklutna Lake
    • Denali Flight landing on glacier
    • Turnagain Arm (One of the lowest tides in the world)
  • Cruise 7 days (Celebrity Millennium)
    • Start from Seward
      • We did Kenai Fjords boat tour for 3 hours before boarding the cruise.
    • Hubbard Glacier (Would recommend a small boat excursion from cruise to the glacier, regret not taking one)
    • Juneuau
      • Mendenhall Glacier and Whale Watch (Recommend not doing the whale watch if you did the tour to Kennai Fjords). If you have $$ go for Tracy Arm Fjords instead (Then you can also skip Kenai)
    • Skagway
      • Did the Yukon Tour, which I strongly recommend.
    • Icy Strait
      • Do the ziplining and gondola. There is nothing else to do. We got lucky, since a whale came right by the shore. Kayaking may be a good option here.
    • Ketchiken
      • Downtown is amazing. I did not care so much about history and Totem Pole historic parks, but you could do it if interested.

June 27th-28th-29th Anchorage

  • June 27th Arrive at Anchorage and pick up rental car (Spend three night in Anchorage)
  • June 28th Drive to Denali (K2 Aviation) (Approx. 2 hours). For directions click here:
  • June 29th
    • Turnagain Arm Drive
      • Highlight was to see one of the largest low tides, where miles and miles of ocean floor was visible.
